The Metro Dallas system, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), is to be doubled in size during the next decade following agreement on a $2.4bn investment programme. The Dallas Area Rapid Transit light rail system is the country longest, stretching 90 miles across North Texas as you can see in Dallas subway map.
